We have used the "just wait for ROBLOX to fix it" method for almost a year now. It hasn't worked. It's time we bring this to light.

In an effort to finally demand more transparency from the admins concerning the fact that these exploits going around for months have yet to be patched we are organizing a clan blackout.

When: May 1, 2012
Who: Anyone who pledges to support
What: We are shutting down our clans for the day to try and get everyone vocal about the issue of the exploits.

What else can you do:

spread awareness, talk to owners of front page games. Spread awareness to any parts of roblox you have power in. cancel your BC if you really take this to heart. don't back down.

Goals:

1.) Our top goal: MORE TRANSPARENCY. We want an official announcement about what the admins are doing to fix this.

2.) Our long term goal: Fix the exploits. This takes time, we know, and it may take work. Doesn't mean we should be kept in the dark during the fixes.

3.) Our secondary goal: HARSHER PUNISHMENT FOR EXPLOITERS AND BETTER REPORTING METHODS.

4.) Spread this protest to other roblox communities outside of clans.

5.) If all this fails, we need this to vent about our frustration.

Games are unplayable thanks to exploiters ruining it and it's annoying the amount of precautions we must take to make our games playable.

Thanks everyone and good luck. Let's solve this issue once and for all. Roblox needs to start addressing the public about our TERRIBLE exploitation problems, and they need to start letting us know how they are fixing it, and keep us informed. Game are unplayable, clan forts are unraidable, and places that people spend months making are taken in a few seconds. We need something to happen...

-CT, Original Idea Maker. Threads on the forums where repeatedly deleted due to mass-reports, most likely from exploiters.

In the group world, things are abused. People randomly mess up ranks, make advertising shouts without permission, exile users without permission and the like.

Thing is, when this happens, we have no easy way to fix this or find out who is doing it. This can be completely solved with one thing: logging ALL actions for the leader to see.

The group log will be within the admin section of the group. It can be selected for certain people to view.

They would look like this:

[1:30:54] RandomNoob328 promoted Lolhaxxorsleet to rank "General". [UNDO]
[1:29:40] bob48298 shouted: "omg go here guis srsllyyy".
[1:23:55] superawsome123 exiled user "lolspamalt123".

What is that [UNDO] thing? Well, basically, it would undo that action. Only the OWNER can do this, and maybe if it logged undoings as well, and let you undo undos.. (yes, paradox), then perhaps it could be an option as well.

In addition, it would have an "UNDO ALL RECENT ACTIONS" button for a user. Basically, any promotions they gave for the day would be reversed, or demotions. This is to easily fix an admin attack in ONE button. (Admin Attack is slang for messing up the ranks of a group with the intention of causing trouble)

This solution is used in MANY popular games, and it's time for Roblox to buff up the group feature. It's sad that this must be done, but the group feature is way too insecure at the moment, and way too much abuse is taking place every day.

When a user posts a comment that is clearly spam and gets caught, Moderators should be able to "mute" them. This would prevent the user from posting comments at all for a certain amount of time. (24 Hours, 3 Days, 1 Week, etc) While this solution could be bypassed by alts, it might help to stop repeat offenders, and again it would serve as a good deterrent against spammers. There could also be an "IP Mute" feature that would have the same effect as the regular mute except that it would stop an IP from posting comments instead of a user. This addition would allow the mute feature to be much more effective and it would be a much less severe alternative to banning an IP entirely.

If your like me, (Slimershady) and have tons, and tons of hats and shirts, then you know what it's like to be looking for a item in your inventory to wear, or go to. It takes to long, way to long......I sugggest roblox makes an update to the "Character" page, there would be a search bar in the hats, faces, shirts, etc.

For the view my outfits, it would basically be a button on the "Character" page. You can save everything you have on, then later if you want to wear the same outfit again, you go to "My Outfits", and click it and instantly everything you had on would go away, and your outfit you picked would show up on your character.

If you want text in a GUI you can choose from three fonts and they are not monospace fonts. This means if you script text like this: " hello " wait(0.1), "hello " wait(0.1), "ello h" wait(0.1), "llo he" wait(0.1), "lo hel" wait(0.1), "o hell" wait(0.1), " hello" wait(0.1). You see the text flashing over your screen. But in a NO-monospace font every letter is different so it looks bad. On the other hand, in a monospaced font every letter has the same size so it would be much easier to make a good looking GUI. (it can also be some other monospace font doesn't has to be courier but it has to be monospaced!)
